We are looking for an experienced Carpenter/Working Superintendent. Projects are residential and commercial and we are based in the Lincoln, NE area. Experience necessary. Looking for experience with framing, layout, interpreting blueprints, scheduling, and other construction fundamentals. Projects range in cost from a $600,000+ new build to a residential remodel.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Every morning, report to the office or job site.
  • We expect that everything is finished to the highest standard.
  • We anticipate that all of our staff will act responsibly.

Superintendent / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent, Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Site Management: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and in-house staff. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members as needed.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-control measures.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about project progress, changes, and addressing their concerns promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues as they arise to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met and that the project stays on track.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained, and that the project complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, change orders, and project reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
